Community & Charity

Long history of giving back to the community

Our history, culture and people are rooted in Norfolk. We celebrate this local connection by giving back to the community.

Through our Charitable Giving Committee we support charitable causes and organisations in Norfolk that promote the welfare of local people.

Hamlet

Hamlet offers support to children and adults living with disabilities and their families. Over 300 families of children and adults with disabilities living in Norfolk access their services.

Norwich Foodbank

The Norwich Foodbank (seeded by the Trussell Trust) provides emergency food, as well as compassionate support, for local people who may be in crisis and unable to afford the food they need.

Brave Futures - Our charity of the year

Over the course of each year, through staff-led initiatives, we help raise awareness and funds for our nominated charity of the year.

Brave Futures is a specialist support service for children and young people up to the age of 18 who have experienced sexual abuse.

The charity works throughout Suffolk and Norfolk, providing a safe place for children and young people to make sense of the confusion they feel. Brave Futures gives children and young people the skills and tools they need to re-build their futures, manage the trauma they have experienced, and help them move from victim to survivor.
